The first session of the “OSB Specialized Branch Expert Meetings” for 2026, launched by Türkiye İşBank to offer specialized solutions to industrialists, was held on February 12 at the Bulvar Branch in the Ankara İvedik Organized Industrial Zone.
Our Chairman of the Board, Mr. Remzi Akçin, attended the meeting.
In his presentation, Mr. Akçin emphasized the critical role of customs in the supply chain and the “borders separate, customs unite” approach, providing comprehensive assessments, particularly regarding customs and foreign trade legislation changes in 2026. The presentation covered current regulations on product safety exemption applications, postal and express cargo applications, cross-cumulation, VAT exemption for domestic processing deliveries, surveillance notifications, and revaluation rates.
Questions raised by participating industrialists were answered in detail in light of legislation applications and field experience, clarifying the roadmap for the 2026 period.
UGM will continue to guide industrialists in their compliance processes with changing legislation and to share information with industry stakeholders.
