Coordinated by the Ünsped Development Academy (UGA), a training program titled "A chance? Or a trap?" was held on Thursday, May 7, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Organized with the attendance of our colleagues, the training aimed to raise awareness by highlighting the financial and emotional impacts of risky gaming and gambling behaviors on individuals. The program aimed to help participants recognize behaviors that carry a risk of addiction and gain knowledge about coping strategies for such situations.
The training covered the definition of gambling addiction, its prevalence and incidence, its psychological and physical effects, risks associated with online gambling, common misconceptions in society, and methods for protection and prevention against addiction.
Officials emphasized that such awareness training plays a significant role in both enhancing employees’ individual quality of life and maintaining organizational productivity. The training concluded after participants’ questions were answered.
